FAQ...Boudoir Photography

FAQ Boudoir Photography questions asked by our clients.

If there is a question here that has not been covered please let us know and we will do our best to answer for you.

Q...What Editing will be done

We will edit to your specifications if so required or simple retouching to your images as you want us to. I have many years experience in editing using the industry standard to advanced software to bring out the best possible quality, I can take away spots, scars, blemishes, tattoos etc it is also possible to resculpture body parts as well, please let me know what your requirements are prior to your shoot. Other techniques involve lighting and colour changes, with some soft tone skin softening.

Q...How will I know how to pose?

I will direct you exactly how to pose for your photographs, which will be simple arm and leg movements, smiles and serious expressions. Please remember to eat before the shoot and to let me know if you have any mobility issues worth mentioning.

Q...Some of your Images are quite Erotic do I have to be so Raunchy?

We aim to show a wide variety of styles in our galleries Everyone has a different take on what is Raunchy or sexy  – to some it all in the suggestion they want to tease rather than reveal. We work to both spectrums and if you want to keep your lingerie, or nightwear on right through the shoot, that’s no problem at all. We will not push you to take anything off, We want you to be as comfortable as possible for your shoot because it is your shoot and a experience to remember.

Q...I haven’t got a model like figure can you make me look sexy?

Our clients come in all shapes, sizes and ages. We photograph women from age 18 to 60s+

We do not discriminate from any on the above, We can pose you in different lighting conditions to your individual shape, so we can see you at your best.

A boudoir shoot is an amazing confidence booster as all my clients have informed me so we want you to feel good with in yourself and your images to show that as an end result.

Q... How many changes of outfit can i fit in?

We are happy for a couple of changes of either lingerie, nightwear, sheer etc, what ever your comfortable with the more the better

Q...Do you work Evenings and weekends?

I do work Evenings and weekends to suit your requirements.

Q...Can I bring someone with me?

You are more than welcome to bring along a friend or partner for moral support, but we do ask that you do not bring more than one person along with you due to space restrictions and because it can make the shoot more difficult for you .

Q...I am having a maternity shoot can I bring my other children along to the shoot

It is advisable not to bring children along to the studio or at a home location during a shoot.

Q...Do you do hair and make up?

If you are presenting your photos as a gift for a birthday, Christmas or Anniversary, or as a Wedding Present for your Husband-to-be, then we need to have enough time to meet your deadline. For albums, canvas wall art and enlargements please allow up to 4 weeks in advance to ensure I can process order and editing etc.

You can purchase your images on a flash drive or Cd, these files will be high resolution in order you can print out at a later date.

Q...How long do I have to order extra images?

We will hold your files for up to one year after your shoot so you can come back to us to order additional prints, albums, canvases etc. after which they will be destroyed, i most cases we will email you to let you know that the year is almost up and if you are interested in purchasing any of the original files for prints etc.

Q...Will my images be on your website.

Your Photographs are very important to us and we feel a sense of pride on showcasing your results for the benefit of other Clients wishing to try Boudoir photography, However you can be excluded, we will ask at the time of the shoot or just after if you will allow us to show some of your images on our website.

If you would like to see some examples of my work please have a look through this website.

Q... Do you provide a contract of sorts…

We can ask most clients to sign a model release form so both parties are covered and fully understand what is being photographed on the day, however this is a fairly informal shoot and is not always required.
